Wedding Videographer Brighton

Hi, I’m Heather and I’m a professional female Brighton wedding videographer, creating beautiful, relaxed wedding films full of laughter, warmth and glorious wedding day joy.

I’m really honoured to have been named as one of the Top Wedding Videographers in London and the South East, so you can rest assured your precious wedding day memories are in safe hands.

I work across Sussex and the South East but I’m based in the fabulous city of Brighton. And if you’re planning to get married here there are plenty of amazing venues for you to choose from.

Living in Brighton I’m probably a bit biased when it comes to recommending my city but it really does offer the best of everything, just a 50 mins train ride from London and you can be strolling along Brigthon’s buzzing seafront, packed with amazing shops, bars, restaurants and hotels.

In terms of wedding venues Brighton has plenty to suit all tastes, from seafront ceremonies at The Bandstand to elegant receptions at The Grand Hotel or Royal Pavilion.

If you are looking for a wedding venue with a difference then there are plenty of options to choose from including a few churches which have been converted into amazing event spaces like the Spire, Fabrica and One Church.

If an outdoor wedding is more what you had in mind then you could opt to say your vows overlooking the sea at Brighton’s seafront Bandstand. The Bandstand is fully licenced (and has a roof), so you can do the legal bit and then head off into the heart of the City for your reception – or maybe stay near the sea for a relaxed wedding breakfast at one of the local bars like Patterns (complete with a roof terrace and seaviews!).

Alternatively, further along the seafront in Kemp Town is the Secret Garden, a beautifully maintained garden space licensed for wedding ceremonies. Although the venue doesn’t cater for wedding receptions, there are options for drinks and canapes for you to enjoy after your ceremony and before moving on to your reception venue.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose me to film your wedding?

I work in a relaxed documentary way, filming your wedding day as it unfolds and blending in with your friends and family as much as possible to capture special moments and genuine emotion. Unlike a lot of wedding videos, my films are about you and your unique day rather than staged shots.

Do you work on your own?

For the majority of weddings I work on my own. I find this allows me to blend in with your family and friends a lot easier. I know a lot of couples aren’t used to being in front of the camera and the thought of lots of photographers and videographers at their wedding can seem overwhelming, so I aim to be as unobtrusive as possible on the day.

What do you film?

I like to keep my filming as natural as possible so I film your day as it unfolds, rather than asking you to pose or act up for the camera. It goes without saying that your film will be romantic, but the reason most of my couples book me is because they want more than just a ‘pretty video’. They are drawn to my documentary style and the way I observe people interacting with each other and the special moments shared.

Depending on the coverage you opt for, as a guide, my full day coverage would usually begin an hour or two before your wedding ceremony to cover your preparations and the pre-wedding buzz. I’ll then film your ceremony, speeches and then the rest of your day until your first dance, and a little of the dancing just after.

How much are your wedding films?

How do we book you?

If you’d like to book me to film your wedding, the first step is to get in touch to check that I’m available on your wedding date. If I’m free you’ll just need to complete a booking form and pay a £500 booking fee and that’s it, your date will be secure.

The booking fee is applied towards whichever wedding photography package you choose, with the remaining balance due four weeks before your wedding. I’ll also get in touch with you around this time to go over your final plans and to discuss any questions and concerns you have before your big day.
