Sussex Wedding Videographer
Relaxed wedding videos, beautifully filmed to fill your heart with joy.
Relaxed documentary wedding videography in Sussex
I’m a professional female wedding videographer based in Sussex, creating beautiful wedding films full of laughter, warmth and glorious wedding day joy. I work in a relaxed documentary way, filming your wedding day as it unfolds and blending in with your friends and family as much as possible to capture special moments and genuine emotion. Unlike a lot of wedding videos, my films are about you and your unique day rather than staged shots.
Beautiful films full of colour, warmth and joy
A lot of people say their wedding day passed so quickly that they wish they could do it again. Well with a wedding film you can. Relive all the magic of your wedding day all over again – the laughter, tears and all that glorious wedding day love. My documentary-style wedding films are perfect for you if you are planning a relaxed wedding, full of all your favourite people having fun and enjoying your special day with you.

Relaxed & natural wedding videos
I know that for a lot of people the thought of teams of videographers turning up with masses of equipment is a bit intimidating, especially if you aren’t used to being in front of the camera. Well, I’m a bit different. For the majority of weddings I work as a solo wedding videographer, bringing discreet professional camera equipment which allows me to work as unobtrusively as possible while still producing a beautiful film of your special day.
It goes without saying that your film will be romantic, but the reason most of my couples book me is because they want more than just a ‘pretty video’. They are drawn to my documentary style and the way I observe people interacting with each other and the special moments shared.
Unlike a lot of wedding videography companies, I don’t subcontract my filmmaking or editing. So if you do choose me to film your special day, please rest assured that it will be me filming your wedding day and all my wedding videos are edited and delivered by me.
Frequently asked questions
What do you film?
Depending on the coverage you opt for, as a guide, my full day coverage would usually begin an hour or two before your wedding ceremony to cover your preparations and the pre-wedding buzz. I’ll then film your ceremony, speeches and then the rest of your day until your first dance, and a little of the dancing just after.
Not the kind of day you are planning but still want a wedding film? That’s ok! It’s best to get in touch with me and we can talk about your plans and ideas and how we can work together.
I like to keep my filming as natural as possible so I film your day as it unfolds, rather than asking you to pose or act up for the camera. It goes without saying that your film will be romantic, but the reason most of my couples book me is because they want more than just a ‘pretty video’. They are drawn to my documentary style and the way I observe people interacting with each other and the special moments shared.
How much are your wedding films?
Further information about all my Wedding Collections can be found here.
Can we choose the music for our wedding video?
Current copyright laws prohibit the use of popular music tracks in products like wedding videos, so as a professional wedding videographer I only use officially licenced music. The only exception would be if you have the copyright to your own music and would like this used on your wedding film. If that’s the case then get in touch and we can see how to make that work for you.
Do you film the ceremony and speeches?
Yes I sure do! I include snippets from your ceremony and speeches in all my wedding films to help tell the story of your day. However, if you want your full ceremony and speeches provided then please let me know at the time of booking (an additional fee will also apply).
Do you travel for weddings?
I’m based in Sussex but I’m happy to travel within the UK for weddings. Depending on where you are planning to get married there might be a small additional charge to cover travel (and occasionally accommodation, if applicable).
Do you work on your own?
For the majority of weddings I work on my own, as I find this allows me to blend in with your family and friends a lot easier. I know a lot of couples aren’t used to being in front of the camera and the thought of lots of photographers and videographers at their wedding can seem overwhelming, so I aim to be as unobtrusive as possible on the day.
Do you provide RAW footage?
I’m afraid not. One of the reasons I love my job is that I get to put together the story of your wedding day and for me a big part of this is within the editing process.
How many hours of videography do you need for a wedding?
The amount of coverage you’d need for a wedding really depends on the type of day you are planning. As a guide I offer 3 different options of coverage, the most popular being my 8 Hour Collection. This covers from morning preparations (eg: bridal prep) to your ceremony, reception, first dance (if you are having one!) and a bit of the dancing afterwards.
But if you aren’t sure how much time you’ll need I’m happy to talk through your plans with you and provide guidance on the best coverage to suit your wedding so we can ensure nothing gets missed.
Can you recommend any wedding suppliers?
During my time as a wedding videographer I’ve had the privilege of working with some incredible suppliers and I’m happy to provide recommendations or guidance whenever I can, so please feel free to get in touch.
No list of Sussex wedding venues would be complete without mentioning Brighton. As Brighton is my home city I’m probably a bit biased in recommending it as a fantastic location for weddings. The seafront is a big draw for couples and makes a great backdrop for wedding photos. There’s a wide variety of venues in the City centre, from luxury Brighton wedding venues such as The Grand Hotel and Brighton College, to more informal bars and pubs like Patterns and OhSo Social. There are also lots of venues for couples looking for something a little more unusual like the Bandstand, The Spire, Fabrica and The Secret Garden.
West Sussex Weddings
Located a short drive from London and just 50 mins by train, it’s no wonder Sussex is a popular destination for weddings. Sussex offers the best of both worlds, with its rolling countryside and close proximity to the sea. If you’re planning a countryside wedding then there are some truly stunning wedding venues to choose from such as the majestic Firle Place, Glynde, Cowdray House, Findon Place and Pelham House. For something more rural there are plenty of beautiful barns to choose from such as Pangdean Barns, Grittenham Barns, Seldon Barns, Cissbury Barns, and Montague Farm.
